Maiores serão decerto as enchentes a 29 de Maio, nas duas sessões de ‘Cosmopolis' em Lisboa. Uma terá lugar no Centro Cultural de Belém, enquanto a outra é aberta ao público, pelo que Pattinson (e outros actores, incluindo Paul Giamatti) ficarão junto aos fãs. A ‘embaixada' também inclui o cineasta David Cronenberg e o escritor Don DeLillo, cujo romance é a base do filme.
"Espero que os fãs sejam mais civilizados cá", disse Paulo Branco ao CM, admitindo que a estadia de Pattinson "é uma preocupação em Cannes", pois a sua última ida foi comparada à passagem dos Beatles pela cidade francesa.
No filme que estreia em cerca de 30 salas a 31 de Maio, Pattinson interpreta uma personagem muito diferente do vampiro ‘Edward Cullen', protagonista de ‘Crepúsculo'. Trata-se da odisseia de um magnata atormentado que percorre Manhattan (embora a rodagem tenha decorrido em Toronto e não em Nova Iorque) na sua limusina.
'COSMOPOLIS' ATRÁS DA PALMA‘Cosmopolis' integra a lista de candidatos à Palma de Ouro na competição oficial do Festival de Cannes, revelada ontem. "I hope the fans are more civilized here," said Paulo Baulo to the CM, acknowledging that Pattinson's stay in"Cannes is a concern," since his last time in the French city the reactions were described as Beatles-like.
In the film which opens in 30 theaters on May 31st, Pattinson plays a character very different from the vampire 'Edward Cullen', star of Twilight. This is the odyssey of a Manhattan mogul that runs through the city (although shooting has taken place in Toronto and not in New York) in his limousine.
