Cannes 2008: soirée de l'amfAR

6 millions d'euros de fonds récoltés par Madonna et Sharon Stone

C'était l'une des soirées les plus attendues du festival. Hier a eu lieu la soirée de l'amfAR - , la fondation américaine contre le Sida- qui est organisée chaque année pour aider financièrement des malades atteints du Sida. Elle a lieu au Moulin de Mougins, tout près de Cannes. Cette année encore ce fut la soirée de tous les délires mais aussi de la générosité. : 6,4 millions d'euros ont été récoltés par l'actrice Sharon.

The vampy leading manwas auctionned off today in Cannes for the amfAR Cinema Aigaind 2009 Cocktail Party.

The biidinf got so high that Pattinson was split between two bidders, who each paid $20 000, for th chance to meet, greet and win a kiss on the cheek from The "Twilight" Idol

Other items that were auctionnes off included a saxphone donated by Bill Clinton, and a vacation with newly engaged pair Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart.
Procees from the auction support amfAR's work which includes AIDS research, HIV preention, treatment education and sound AIDS-related piblic policy.
