Dans le dernier EW, il y a un tit article sur Robert Pattinson et ses amis "musicos" , incluant Bobby Long, Sam Bradley et Marcus Foster.
WHY THEM: One of these names you know. The others you might not, but their profiles are quickly rising, thanks to their songwriting work on the still-hot Twilight soundtrack. Bradley co-penned “Never Think” with Pattinson, while Long and Foster wrote bonus track “Let Me Sign”
FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES: How did three obscure musicians score such a prominent gig? They had an in: Foster and Bradley went to school with the British actor, Long met the other three at an open-mike night. (Before Twilight, Pattinson was also an aspiring singer.) Despite their friendship, their music is quite different. Bradley favors a rock vibe, Long is more folk-inclined, and Foster owes something to Tom Waits.
THIS DOESN’T SUCK: Bradley was on his way to use the bathroom when Pattinson called to say their song was going to appear in Twilight. “I pissed myself,” he says. Really? “No.”
NEXT: The trio will reunite at July’s TwiCon festival in Dallas. “It’s going to be mental,” say Foster. Will Pattinson sit in? “I wouldn’t turn up there if I was him,” says Long. Foster hopes to record some songs with Pattinson soon; “It might be my stuff, or his stuff, or some stuff we wrote together.”
ON THEIR MUST LIST: Long loves rockers the Felice Brothers, while Bradley is a fan of Vancouver singer Shera Kelly. One of Foster’s favorite actors is Christopher Walken, whose forthcoming film $5 a Dayfeatures another of Foster’s songs.

POURQUOI EUX : vous connaissez un de ces noms. Les autres peut être pas encore, mais leurs profils montent rapidement, grâce à leur travail d'auteur-compositeur pour la BO toujours très demandé de Twilight. Bradley a co écrit "Never Think" avec Pattinson, tandis que Long et Foster écrivaient le bonus track "Let me Sign"...
AMIS DANS LES HAUTES SPHERES: Comment trois musiciens obscurs ont ils fait pour se mettre en avant ? Il y a eu un avant: Foster et Bradley sont allés à l'école avec l'acteur britannique, Long a rencontré les autres trois la nuit dans les radio-crochets. (Avant Twilight, Pattinson était également un chanteur aspirant.) En dépit de leur amitié, leur musique est très différente. Bradley favorise le rock, Long est plus incliné pour le Folk, et Foster a quelque chose de Tom Waits.
CA CRAINT PAS: Bradley était sur en chemin pour aller au toilette quand Pattinson a appelé pour dire leur chanson allait apparaitre dans Twilight. "Je me suis pissé dessus" dit il. Vraiment ? "Non..."
ENSUITE: Le trio se réunira au TwiCon de juillet à Dallas. "Ca va être dément" dit Foster. Pattinson y sera t il? "Je ne viendrais pas si j'étais lui" dit Long. Foster espère pouvoir enregistrer quelques chansons avec Pattinson très bientôt "Ce pourrait être mon oeuvre (qque chose), ou son oeuvre, ou une certaine oeuvre nous aurions écrite ensemble."
LEUR PREFERANCE: Long aime le rock des Felice Brothers, alors que Bradley est un fan du chanteur Shera Kelly de Vancouver. Un des acteurs préférés de Foster est Christopher Walken, dont le prochain film $5 un Day comprendra une autre de ses compositions.
