Robert Pattinson won’t be heading into harm’s way in Iraq after all, when he starts filming “Mission Blacklist” about Saddam Hussein’s capture during the Iraq War, according to sources.

Rob will be jumping out of his current picture, “The Rover,” and right into filming his psychological thriller.

Principal production is scheduled to start as soon as April, studio Embankment Films has announced on its website.

A source confirms to TheImproper that the movie won’t be shot in Iraq as originally reported. The film will likely do its location shooting in Morocco or Jordan.
A number of period desert films have been shot the North African country, including 2001′s “Black Hawk Down.” In the last few years, Michael Patrick King’s “Sex and the City 2,” Disney’s “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” and “Inception” have been filmed there.

But Director Kathryn Bigelow chose to film her Oscar-winning Iraq war epic, “The Hurt Locker,” in Jordan. She wanted to be as close to Iraq as possible, while avoiding the war-torn country. “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” also filmed in Jordan in 1988.

Robert Pattinson ne sera pas face au danger en Irak, après tout, quand il commencera le tournage de "Blacklist Mission" à propos de la capture de Saddam Hussein lors de la guerre en Irak, selon certaines  sources.  

Rob ira directement de son tournage actuel "The Rover", au tournage de son thriller psychologique. 

La production principale est prévue pour commencer dès Avril, a annoncé Films Embankment Studios  sur son site internet. 

Une source confirme à The Improper que le film ne sera pas tourné en Irak comme initialement indiqué. Le film sera probablement faire son tournages au Maroc ou en Jordanie.
Un certain nombre de films d'époque, de déroulant dans le désert, on été tourné en Afrique du Nord, y compris 2001 "La chute du Faucon Noir". Ces dernières années,  "Sex and the City 2" de Michael Patrick King, "Prince of Persia" de Disney et" Inception" ont été tourné là-bas. 

Mais le réalisatrice Kathryn Bigelow a choisi de filmer son oscarisé épique film de guerre "Démineurs" sur la guerre en Irak en Jordanie. Elle voulait être aussi proche que possible de l'Irak, tout en évitant le pays déchiré par la guerre. "Indiana Jones et la dernière croisade» a également été tournée en Jordanie en 1988.
