Pouvez-vous nous parler du tournage de Cosmopolis, de David Cronenberg ? Je joue une vendeuse d’art qui a une relation sexuelle avec un jeune riche, interprété par Robert Pattinson, à qui elle essaie de vendre des tableaux. J’ai tourné deux jours, dans un univers très cronenberguien, c’està- dire assez distant pendant le tournage, mais chaleureux au départ et à l’arrivée. C’était devant un fond vert, dans une limousine avec une caméra dirigée à distance, David nous parlait à travers un micro. Au départ, j’étais grisée à l’idée de jouer une espèce de folle furieuse. Or, à la fin de la scène, elle se retrouve dans une solitude misérable. En sortant du film, je me suis sentie assez mal. Et c’est exactement ce que David voulait raconter : l’illusion de prospérité, puis la sensation d’un monde qui tombe et perd tout.
