Peter Facinelli has been charged by Robert Defranco to gain 500,000 twitter followers by the end of the day Friday June 19th, 2009. If he fails, Rob will get Peter's chair from the set of Twilight. If he succeeds... our boss will sing "All the Single Ladies" while wearing a bikini on Hollywood blvd. The countdown to the demise of Rob's dignity begins below.

S'il échoue, Rob obtiendra de Peter qui lui laisse la chaise de Twilight (c'est celle avec son nom, les chaises de "cinéma"..). For those of you who don't know, Peter has recently accepted a bet with a friend of his named Rob, from development company 211me-Inc.com. Rob bet that Peter couldn't get 500,000 followers in a week.

Pour ceux de vous qui le savent pas encore, Peter a récemment accepté un pari avec un ami appelé Rob, de Development Company 211me-Inc.com. Rob a parié que Peter n'rriverait pas à atteindre / obtenir 500.000 "Followers" en 1 semaine.


If Peter fails at reaching that goal by Midnight, Pacific time on June 19th, he will have to hand over the back of his Twilight director's chair, which he does not want to part with. However, if he can reach that goal, Rob has to dance down Hollywood Blvd, in a bikini, singing "All The Single Ladies' by Beyonce, while holding a sign saying "Twitter Me".

Si Peter échoue à atteindre ce but avant minuit, heure côté Pacifique le 19 juin, il devra remettre le dos de sa chaise de Twilight, dos dont il ne veut pas se séparer.... Then... because ppl who know me a bit, know that I usually hate everything related to paparazzi (I've already done en blog entry about it...) it is making cross the way they are doing their job watching private life and so on...and posting pics of them is just giving them some more credit...!

but here... I think it is even worth... as it is from ppl calling them self fans...

David Slade's Interview...

David Slade Talks "Twilight: Eclipse"

Twilight: New Moon isn’t even in theatres yet, but we are already gearing up for the third film, Twilight: Eclipse. We crashed a David Slade signing at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, California, where he was signing a new line of toys based on 30 Days of Night.

“One of the cool things about shooting a movie based on a book is that it is not a film the studio can really change,” he tells us. “Not that the studio would want to change anything, of course.” David promises that they will stick close to the book – there is no sense in changing the story at all.' What will differ about Slade’s Twilight?
“I don’t really know. We haven’t even started shooting yet.”
While the director says he has a basic idea of what he wants to do with it, he is more concerned with telling a good story than being “different.” “It is darker, and there is a lot more action than the previous two,” he admits. “The third book is from Bella’s point of view, but the film will be more objective.”

And just how will he do that?
“We are going to focus on the origin stories of several characters, like Jasper, and show how Bella will decide between Edward and Jacob.”

David didn’t read the books until the studio was interested in
bringing him in – then he did his homework.
“It was tough for a middle-aged man to get into,” he admits, “from the point of view of a 17 year old girl. But once I got past that, I found them to be really good stories.”

He is especially excited about the great script from Dexter writer/producer Melissa Rosenberg. Right now, they are still in preproduction, with plans to start shooting later in the year.

When asked about his list of genre credits (including 30 Days of Night, Hard Candy, and mind-bending music videos for bands such as Aphex Twin, Stone Temple Pilots, and System of a Down), Slade admits to being a genre fan.

“How many other chances do you get to create your own world from scratch?” He also tells us: “When I first got cable, I watched FEARnet constantly. I really loved Midnight Meat Train. I wanted to direct it – the studio sent me the script – but in the end I was a little too late.”

While nothing post-Eclipse is written in blood, he is looking at a few other projects, all in the horror/fantasty/sci-fi genre.

New Moon n'est même encore dans les salles de cinéma,que nous sommes déjà sur la piste du 3ème opus Twilight: Eclipse. Nous avons coincé David Slade signant (dédicacant) à Dark Delicacies à Burbank, California, une nouvelle ligne de produits (jouets... ;oP) dérivés de 30 days of night.

"Une des choses cool avec le tournage d'un film basé sur un livre cest que ce n'est pas un film que le studio peut vraiment changer" nous dit il. "non pas que le studio aurait voulu changer tout et n'importe quoi, naturellement." David nous promet David qu'ils colleront au plus près du livre - "il n'y a aucun sens à tout changer l'histoire"...

En quoi le Twilight de Slade sera différent?
" je ne sais vraiment pas. Nous n'avons pas encore commencé à tourner".
Tandis que le directeur dit il a une idée fondamentale de ce qu'il veut en faire, il est davantage concerné par raconter une bonne histoire plutôt que de faire qque chos de "différent". "L'univers d'Eclipse est plus noir, il y a plus d'action que dans les 2 premiers volets" admet il. "Le troisième livre est du point de vue de Bella, mais le film sera plus objectif."

mais comment allez-vous vous y prendre?
"Nous allons nous concentrer sur les histoires d'origine de plusieurs personnages, comme Jasper, et montrons comment Bella se décidera / positionnera entre Edouard et Jacob."

David n'avait pas lu les livres jusqu'à ce que le studio s'interresse à lui en l'impliquant. il a alors fait des "devoirs".
"c'était dur pour un homme entre deux âges d'entrer dedans" il admet, "de se mettre à la place d'une jeune fille de 17ans". Mais une fois que j'ai eut passé ce, j'ai trouvés en fait que c'était de très bonnes histoires."

Il est particulièrement excité au sujet du script écrit par Melissa Rosenberg, auteur et producteur (trice) de Dexter. En ce moment, ils sont toujours dans la phase de préproduction, avec des plans pour commencer à tourner plus tard par année.

Quand nous avons posé des questions sur ses différentes collaborations de ce genre (30 days of night, Hard Candy et des vidéos clips musicaux hallucinants pour des groupes tels que Aphex Twin, Stone Temple Pilots, and System of a Down), Slade admet à être fan de ce genre.

"Combien avez vous de chance de créer votre propre monde à partir de zéro ?" Il nous dit également "quand j'ai obtenu la première fois le câble, j'ai regardé FEARnet constamment. J'ai vraiment aimé le film Midnight Meat Train. J'ai voulu le diriger -le studio m'a envoyé le manuscrit- mais à la fin j'étais peu trop un en retard."

Tandis que rien d'Eclipse n'est encore écrit dans le marbre, il travaille sur quelques autres différents projets, tous dans le genre de l'horreur/fantasty/sci-fi.

R-Patts: First Day of Shooting on New Movie in NYC...

Around 8:30 a.m. today, Robert Pattinson, the outrageously attractive star of the Twilight series of films, began shooting his new film Remember Me in downtown Manhattan. And all under the loving gaze of a platoon of photographers and dozens

Before the throng of admirers showed up, Robert, dressed in a flannel shirt over a cotton white tee, jeans, black sneakers and carrying a black backpack, Rob ate breakfast outside with some of the cast during morning walkthroughs. "He was breakdancing and joking around," one R-Patts spotter tells OK!. "When lots of people did show up, Rob tried to act unfazed, standing behind some extras and laughing with his male co-stars and a few extras."

The sheer number of looky-loos has made shooting the film difficult for the small crew. "The PAs [Production Assistants] are having trouble moving people out of the shot," one source explains to OK!.

In the scene being shot this morning, Rob walks with a male friend around the corner of a building talking while carrying a coffee and chewing on a straw, which he had been doing during most of the morning.

"The scene is about two friends who are talking about everyday life," one production source reveals to OK!. "It's a romantic drama. Filming's going great so far. Robert's really at ease. He's handling it all really well."

Despite the off and on rain, filming continued and is expected to go on into the night. Luckily for all involved, the shooting is expected to move indoors later today.

Rpattz interview, New Moon set report

The article starts with a comparison betweek Hollywood already famous 'big' sex-symbols (Johnny depp, Brad Pitt...). Big, because they're both over their forties, and Rob's perfect to take their inheritance and being Hollywoood's new sex-symbol.

The very first question is his take on success and fame.
He answers that he's living a dream. "I've been acting since I wan 15 in Shakespeare theatres, so it's a lot of experience even if I'm only 23. Success came all of a sudden and I still have to get used to it. It's insane!"
Then he says that he saw a couple of girls crying at a blockbuster even for the Twilight Dvd Launch. "I was there, trying to understand what triggered that reaction. They were on the verge of tears because they were going to receive their DVD copy. Those girls were crying for a DVD!" (I can totally see his bewindered face here LOL) And he goes on saying that he remained silent trying not to get noticed.
As for the New Moon shooting, Rob states that shooting was going pretty well also because NM has a more oniric and fantastic atmosphere. "Most of my character's scenes are purely a product of Bella's imagination: there are memories but also nightmares all mixed up together. She's really scared because she thinks she's going insane. I got to shoot some pretty impressive stuff. I think this movie is going to be scarier that the first one."

Speaking of fear, he's asked about the Oscars night. And about VIP's opinions on Twilight.
"it was incredible. I think about last year when I looked at this kind of events like I'll never be a part of any of them. And now..I keep on thinking that something really bad is going to happen to me. It's bound to happen because I already exploited all myluck, so probably I'm gonna die in a few days or something.""Robin Wright Penn told me that she and her kids loved Twilight very much. She came to me and it was really weird because it was just after her husband won the award for best actor. Surreal, indeed."

Have you and your other cast members ever compete on 'who met the most exuberant fans'?
"No, I always try to keep a low profile. But often people gets deluded when they actually meet me. Their first reaction is: at first I thought you were an homeless, then I recognized you"

You are a talented guitarist and pianist, and you composed a few songs for the Twilight soundtrack. Is there any other musical project you're involved with?
"Yes, actually. I'm composing a few songs for another movie OST I'm very fond of, but I can't tell any more than this for now."

A few months ago, People magazing put you in 13th place in their 'Most sexy man' chart, and you said you were searching for a girlfriend. Has something chanced since then?
"No, not much. I'm still searching for a girlfriend. Do I really hold 13th place? I didn't even remember that anymore."

Are your friends part of the business industry too?
"I have the same lot of friends I had at school. We're all involved in music, acting or writing. Each of us will break through a step at a time. They're basically the only people I aim to please. They're inspiration for me. We're very competitive."

You said you learned a lot from the Salvador Dalì biopic, Little Ashes. Why?
"One of the main themes of the movie is the fear of being overwhelmed and overdriven by ambition, and to get too worried about your public image that you might foget who you really are. I'm very aware of this: If people talks about you - people you haven't even met - in the end you become paranoid about everything and you feel like you can't be honest or truthful. I learned that it's wrong to wear a mask. everything's so much easier and healthier living trying to be yourself. And to not
being scared of what people might think of you."

Elles étaient aubord des larmes parce qu'elles venaient de recevoir leur copie de DVD. Ces filles pleuraient pour un DVD !" (Je peux totalement voir son visage "bewinded" (???) ici LOL) et il ajoute qu'il est resté silencieux en essayant de ne pas se faire remarquer...

Quant au tournage de New Moon, Rob déclare que le tournage allait assez bien aussi parce que New Moon a une atmosphère plus onirique et plus fantastique." La majeure partie de mon personnage sont des scènes qui sont purement un produit de l'imagination de Bella: il y a des souvenirs mais également des cauchemars le tout mélangés ensemble. Elle est vraiment effrayée parce qu'elle pense qu'elle devient complètement folle. J'ai du tourner certaines scènes assez impressionnantes. Je pense que ce film va être plus effrayant que le premier."

Parlant de crainte / peur, on lui a demandé son impression sur la Nuit des Oscars... et l'avis que les VIP pouvaient aoir sur Twilight...
C'était incroyable. Je pense à l'année dernière où j'ai regardé ce genre d'évènements on me disant que jamais je ne participerais à ce genre de partie / à l'un d'entre elles. Et maintenant... Je continue de penser que quelque chose de vraiment mauvais va m'arriver. Cest à la limite de se produire tellement j'ai probablement déjà exploité toute ma chance, je vais probablement mourir dans quelques jours ou autre chose." " Robin Wright Penn m'a dit qu'elle et ses enfants ont beaucoup aimé Twilight. Elle est venue me voir et c'était vraiment étrange parce que son mari venait juste de gagner l'Oscar pour meilleur acteur. Surréaliste, vraiment."

Vous faites vous concurrence entre vous et les autres membres du cast à qui aura rencontré le fan 'le plus exubérant'?
"Non, j'essaye toujours d'adopter un profil bas. Mais souvent les gens sont trompés quand ils me rencontrent réellement. Leur première réaction est : tout d'abord je pensais que tu / vous étiez un sans-abri, puis je t / vous ai reconnu."

Vous êtes un guitariste et un pianiste doués, et vous avez composé quelques chansons pour la BO Twilight. Y a il un autre projet musical dans lequel vous seriez impliqué?
"Oui..! Je compose actuellement quelques chansons pour un autre film OST que j'apprécie vraiment, mais je peux rien dire de plus pour l'instant.

Il y a quelques mois, Peple Magazine vous avait classé 13ème des "homes ples plus sexy" et vous nous aviez dit que vous recherchiez une petite amie. Les choses ont t elles évoluer depuis ?
"Non, pas beaucoup. Je recherche toujours une petite amie. Est-ce que j'étais vraiment à la 13ème place? Je ne me rappelle même plus de ça."

Vos amis font-ils partie de l'industrie aussi ?
"J'ai le même groupe d'amis que j'avais à l'école. Nous sommes tous impliqué dans la musique, le cinéma ou l'écriture. Chacun de nous "emmergera" à un moment donné. Ils sont fondamentalement les seules personnes à qui j'ai enviede faire plaisir. Ils sont mon inspiration." Nous sommes très "compétitifs" (dans le sens compétition)

Vous avez dit que vous avez beaucoup appris du biopic de Salvador Dali, LIttle Ashes. Pourquoi ?
Un des thèmes principaux du film est la crainte d'être déborder et dépasser par l'ambition, et d'être aussi trop inquiet de son image publique que l'on pourrait oublier qui l'on est vraiment. Je suis très consceint de cela: si les gens parlent de vous -les gens que vous n'avez jamais rencontré- à la fin vous devenez parano au sujet de tout et n'importe quoi... et vous sentez que vous pouvez plus être honnête ou vrai. J'ai appris que c'était "mal" de porter un masque. Tout est tellement plus facile et plus sain si vous esayer de vivre / d'être pour vous même. Et à pas en étant effrayé de ce qu'untel pourrait penser à you."

Rob vs James Ranco for Jeff Buckley Role...?

According to this article posted by BlackBookMag, a biopic film of musician Jeff Buckley is up for negotiation. Rob and actor James Franco (Milk, Spider-man) is being considered to play the leading role.

Currently competing for the chance to play Jeff Buckley are heart-throbs Robert Pattinson and James Franco. Since auditions and line-readings are things of a former era in the world of casting, the final decision will probably come down to whichever thesp can demonstrate the dreamiest Buckley pout.

However, please note that this is not official…!

Selon cet article signé par BlackBookMag, un biopic du musicien Jeff Buckley est en négociation. Rob et l'acteur James Franco (Milk, Spider-man) sont pré senti pour jouer le rôle principal.

Les idoles Robert Pattinson et James Franco sont en concurrence
actuellement pour avoir la chance de jouer le rôle de Jeff Buckley. Depuis des auditions et les premières lectures relève d'une ancienne ère dans le monde du casting, la décision finale reviendra probablement à celui qui reproduira laplus rêveuse des moue de Buckley.
(alors, c'est pas trop français ma phrase là, mais grosso modo, l'ère des casting à l'ancienne,avec lecture et essai est révolu... et c'est celui des 2 acteurs qui sera le plus proche dans les mimiques à l'identique de Buckley qui aura le rôle...)
