It seems this album has been on the cards for a long time, and now finally we have a firm release date and lots of lovely details.
Marcus' album, "Nameless Path" will be released by Communion/Poldor records on the 26th of September. We have had a sneaky listen over here at The Ruckus, and can assure you it is a thing of beauty. I've been seeing Marcus play for nearly two and a half years now, and have watched his progression from folky singer feeling his way in music armed only with a guitar, to front man of a band who knows where he is going and what it is going to sound like.
The album will be preceded by a single, released a week before the album, which will happily be one of my favourite tracks from the album, "I Was Broken". It is not a track Marcus has often performed live, but it seems to be a fan favourite none the less.
Marcus will also take his band and album on tour in October, after a summer filled with festivals. It is his biggest UK headline tour to date, which is pretty exciting. You'll be able to catch him at these places:
Make sure you get out and see him if you can, and look out for a more detailed review of the album from one of us Londoners closer to the release.
