Director David Cronenberg was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at tonight’s Canadian Screen Awards. After the presentation, he told media that his first novel and next film will be released this year. He mentioned that “Maps to the Stars,” that stars Rob, will be released in September and going to Cannes Film Festival in May for more sales of distribution and other industry related reasons. However, he admits he is still not sure as to whether “Maps to the Stars” will be in competition.
