Le Pacte vient d'annoncer que "Maps to the stars", le prochain long métrage de David Cronenberg avec Robert Pattinson, John Cusack et Julianne Moore sortira sur nos écrans en mai 2014.
Le duo Cronenberg / Pattinson de retour à Cannes : ça se confirme !
Alors que nous vous annoncions en janvier dernier qu'un premier montage de Maps To The Stars était prêt et que celui-ci était passé devant la commission de classification des films aux États-Unis, Le Pacte - qui distribue le film en France - vient de dater le prochain film de David Cronenberg au mois de mai 2014.
Aucune date n'est encore précisée mais à l'instar de son Cosmopolis en 2012, il y a fort à parier que la sortie se fera simultanément à sa présentation cannoise.
Emmené par Robert Pattinson, Julianne Moore et John Cusack, Maps To The Stars a pour thème central Hollywood, et plus exactement l'obsession pour la célébrité.
David Cronenberg a déjà été sélectionné à 4 reprises en compétition officielle à Cannes : Crash en 1996, Spider en 2002, A History of Violence en 2005 et Cosmopolis en 2012.
A noter que The Rover de David Michôd avec Robert Pattinson n'est toujours pas daté et pourrait bien concourir pour la Palme d'or.
Double dose de Pattinson pour le 67ème Festival de Cannes ?
On n'a plus qu'à..... attendre mi Avril et la sélection officielle pour Cannes...!

No specific date has been given, but like his Cosmopolis in 2012, there is a good chance that the release will be made simultaneously in theaters and forits presentation at Cannes.

David Cronenberg has been selected 4 times in Cannes in Official Competition: Crash in 1996 and Spider in 2002, A History of Violence in 2005 and Cosmopolis in 2012.
Note that The Rover by David Michôd with Robert Pattinson has no release date yet too and could be in competition for the Palme d'Or.
